Main Characters in Atlantica can wear Clothes as decorative items and for additional Stats. Stats on some Clothes can be enhanced (see Enhanceable column in table below) by using Atlas Outfit Stones.

You can also collect Clothes in the Clothes Book to gain AT Mileage Points.
